Archiproducts Design Awards 2023

The awards aim to showcase the dynamic synergy between designers and brands by celebrating their creativity and innovation. Launched in 2016, the annual Archiproducts Design Awards (ADA) brings together the world's most prominent designers. The achievements of 2023 were summed up on 16 November in Milan, celebrating the most outstanding architects, designers, creative directors, companies and their products that, through the use of new materials, forms or functions, have the potential to revolutionise and improve the quality of life both today and in the future.

More than 800 applications for the award were evaluated, and the best and most innovative projects in the areas of Furniture, Outdoor, Bathroom, Kitchen, Contract, Office, Lighting, Decor and other categories were carefully selected. One of the winners of 2023 in the outdoor furniture category was this year's new products from the Italian companies S•CAB (2 awards), EMU and Nardi (one award each).

Brezza armchair

  • ADA 2023 Award for innovative concept and design in the Outdoor category
  • ADA Sustainability Award 2023 for good practice in sustainable design principles in the Outdoor category

This year's novelty by the Italian company S•CAB took a coveted place among the winners of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023, receiving recognition both in the main award and in the separate Sustainability Award, which recognises products that are distinguished by the use of recyclable and biodegradable materials, created within the logic of a circular economy, environmentally friendly production technologies and adherence to the principles of sustainable choices throughout the product's life cycle.

The Brezza outdoor armchair, designed by Alessandro Stabile, creates a new relationship between frame and cushions, combining strength, sustainability and innate elegance. Designed with outdoor comfort in mind, the upholstered parts integrate seamlessly into the frame, connecting for a secure fit. The open metal legs with a circular cross-section not only provide stability but also contribute to the chair's distinctive personality.

The chair has a tubular steel frame with a diameter of 25 mm, available in six colours such as linen, dove grey, anthracite, terracotta, olive green and mocha, and a variety of upholstery options, including recycled eco-friendly fabrics derived from recycled, glue-free yarns transformed into new, sustainable products.

Cabla modular system

  • ADA 2023 Award for innovative concept and design in the Outdoor category

The versatile modular upholstered furniture system Cabla by LucidiPevere studio is designed for a variety of configurations. The three-section sofa, a variation of this adaptable structure, is one of the winners of this year's ADA award in the outdoor furniture segment, thanks to its timeless design that perfectly harmonises aesthetic value and functionality.

The design of the Cabla sofa, made of stainless steel, achieves unparalleled compositional and expressive flexibility in a wide range of interiors, from commercial enterprises, offices, and public places such as cafes, restaurants or bars to the perfect placement of such furniture at home for gatherings with family and friends.

Tevere extensible table

  • ADA Sustainability Award 2023 for good practice in sustainable design principles in the Outdoor category

Tevere is the latest eco-friendly outdoor extendable table with a recyclable aluminium base and a table top made of 100% recyclable regenerated plastic, which provides optimum resistance to impact and scratches. The extension system allows the structure to extend, while the legs always remain at the ends of the top, without creating a gap, but ensuring perfect continuity of the slats.

The table is available in four shades: anthracite, tortora (dove grey) and corda (beige) in virgin polypropylene and in a completely new Terra colour in recycled plastic, which has a vintage effect, rough texture just like earth.

Tevere boasts a design characterised by soft lines devoid of sharp corners and rounded leg shapes for an exceptionally smooth and dynamic aesthetic. The length of the Nardi Outdoor dining table is 211 cm when fixed and 275 cm when retracted.
