For many years, the Italian company Nardi has been concerned with environmental protection and strives for sustainable development, the concept of striking a balance between meeting the modern needs of humanity and protecting the interests of future generations. The logical epilogue of this commitment to social responsibility is the creation of the new Stack and Combo furniture collections – a series of stools and tables made from 100% recycled plastic that perfectly combines excellent design and functionality.

Features of the series
- Frame: recycled regenerated polypropylene fibreglass with UV additives
- Colour: Terra
The common denominator of this line is the word "Terra", which is the name of our planet Earth in Latin. The sturdy wooden stripes-inspired furniture sections are distinguished by their durability and ergonomics. The elements are harmoniously combined with the distinctive Terra colour, an evenly coloured textured matte finish with a vintage effect. The Stack stools and Combo tables are low-maintenance, weatherproof and compact for storage. Discover furniture that combines sustainability with sophisticated design.

Stack
- Models: bar stool Stack Maxi, stool Stack Mini
- Stackable
- Stack Maxi dimensions: 76.5 cm (height), 48 cm (width)
- Stack Mini dimensions: 46.5 cm (height), 36.5 cm (width)
The design of the Stack stools features an innovative spiral construction that allows them to be stacked seamlessly, thereby optimising the space used and their transport. According to designer Raffaello Galiotto, "The spiral design is not a mere aesthetic whim, but the search for a shape that perfectly meets the need for rotational stacking, going beyond the classic design of the outer strip." The central hole in the seat allows for easy movement and efficient water drainage. The factory offers two versions of the stool, which differ in seat height: Mini and Maxi, designed for use at a dining room table and a high table or bar, respectively.

Combo
- Models: dining Combo, bar Combo High
- Table top sizes: 60 to 70 cm
Characterised by straight lines and a round top, the Combo table is versatile as it can be transformed into a high table (Combo High) with an extension that raises it to bar height (from 75 to 110.5 cm). The table top, which is mechanically inserted into the base, is made of 100% recyclable regenerated polypropylene, using advanced Nardi technology to ensure optimum flatness and durability.

Global recognition and plans for 2024
Stack outdoor stools and Combo tables made from recycled plastic received the Green Good Design Award from The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and the Prize Designs for Modern Furniture and Lighting® Award from Global Design News and The Chicago Athenaeum: The Museum of Architecture and Design, an award for the most innovative ideas in the contemporary furniture world.
Reflections on new needs and trends in environmental sustainability and strategic considerations, in general, led to the creation of the Regeneration industrial programme by the Italian company Nardi in 2019, which aims to produce outdoor furniture made of recycled plastic, which in turn can also be recycled.

These products are constantly being researched and improved, and are manufactured in a plant equipped with energy-saving hybrid injection presses with an air-cooled system that does not use water and consumes very little electricity, which is generated by a photovoltaic panel system.
Initially, the Regeneration products, including the Stack stools and Combo tables, were available in Terra colour, but three new distinctive shades are planned for 2024, which will also be a distinctive feature of the furniture line, giving it a bright character.

Regeneration is much more than just a line of recycled plastic products, it is an experiment, a complete concept for both the models and their packaging (made from FSC-certified recycled cardboard and fully recyclable low-density polyethylene), solutions that can be applied on a large scale to the entire production cycle.
