The recent shift towards sustainability in furniture production and materials (especially in outdoor collections) is only gaining momentum. The focus on environmental responsibility and long-term design thinking continues. At iSaloni 2024, many new plastic and metal launches emphasised flowing, ergonomic silhouettes, matte (sometimes slightly textured) finishes, and muted colour palettes inspired by nature.
In the indoor wooden furniture segment, we’re seeing a return to classic proportions combined with contemporary detailing — such as the perforated backrest of A-6010 chair chair by the Polish brand Paged, or woven cane elements in the Safi (caned backrest) and Classica (caned seat) series.
Salone del Mobile 2024 is where new ideas and interior trends take shape. It brings together forward-looking solutions in furniture (dining, lounge, workplace, and public-space design), lighting, materials, accessories, and technologies that often define standards for the coming years.
It is the largest furniture exhibition held in Milan. Today, the fair spans almost 210,000 m² at the Rho Fiera Milano venue. Every spring, manufacturers from Europe and across the world — around 2,300 companies from 188 countries — present innovations for residential, hospitality, workplace, and outdoor spaces: upholstered furniture, tables, chairs, umbrellas, sun loungers, lighting, décor, and more.
For brands and designers, Salone del Mobile (iSaloni, Milan Furniture Fair) remains an essential platform to present new collections internationally. It also includes cultural events, workshops, and educational sessions — a valuable space for professionals and design enthusiasts to expand their expertise, find inspiration, and build partnerships.

- Stackable: up to 6 pcs
This new launch by the Italian brand Nardi is defined by smooth, rounded lines and a sustainability-led approach. The collection stands out for its clean visual language, attention to detail, and a refined matte finish.
The ergonomic design of the Tiberina outdoor chair delivers comfort, while its durable polymer frame makes it suitable for intensive use and varied weather conditions.
Metal Chairs

Outdoor series Malvasia
- Frame material: steel
New outdoor chairs by the Italian manufacturer S•CAB impress with precise, graphic patterns of light and shadow created by the metal weave. Reminiscent of dappled shade under trees, the Malvasia series can elevate a terrace or veranda — from summer cafés and restaurants to private garden settings.
Although the silhouette feels minimal, production is complex: the backrest and seat are formed from a single perforated, calendered metal sheet and then discreetly integrated into a tubular frame.

Riso series
- Metal colours: black, dark green, dark blue, burgundy, white
- Upholstery: 180+ options (fabric, eco-leather, natural leather)
Riso is a balanced mix of comfort and visual refinement. A metal frame supports generous upholstered volumes that wrap the user, creating a notably soft seating experience.
Soft oval silhouettes combined with clean curves make Riso a versatile option for commercial interiors, home dining rooms, offices, and cafés.
Wooden Chairs
- Frame material: beech or oak

This range combines simplicity with a dynamic, elegant line. The curved wooden frame of Linia pairs with a comfortable seat and a wide backrest to provide strong support and everyday comfort.

6010
- Version: solid seat and back
- Frame material: beech only
This model traces its roots back to the 1930s. The timeless bentwood language of A-6010 is reinforced by distinctive circular cut-outs on the backrest.
It references classic bentwood forms with a modern accent — suitable for most interior styles.

Nopp
- Versions: solid; upholstered seat; fully upholstered
- Frame material: beech only
The Nopp series suits interiors with different functional and aesthetic requirements. Its universal design works in contemporary and classic settings, adding character without overpowering the space.

Safi and Classica caned models
- Versions: Safi — caned back + upholstered seat / fully upholstered; Classica — solid / caned seat / upholstered seat
- Frame material: beech only
Caned chairs bring a lighter, more refined texture into restaurants, cafés, and coffee shops. They pair naturally with wooden tables and create an effortless, relaxed atmosphere.
Safi and Classica are available in multiple wood finishes and upholstery options, with different configurations (with/without armrests, bar versions) to match the venue’s style and positioning.
Mixed-material Chairs

- Metal colours: black, dark green, dark blue, burgundy, white
- Upholstery: 180+ options (fabric, eco-leather, natural leather)

This series combines contemporary design with durability and practicality. Wood and metal work together to create a piece that feels warm yet structured — an effective solution for high-traffic interiors.
The sturdy metal base ensures stability, while natural wood brings tactility and visual warmth. As a result, Skool works well in commercial spaces, stylish residential dining areas, and modern offices or cafés.
Outdoor Tables

Tevere extendable tables
- Materials: polypropylene fibreglass (top), aluminium (legs)
- Colours: anthracite, corda (rope/beige), tortora (dove grey), terra (earthy)
- Sizes: 210/275 × 100 cm and 147/211 × 90 cm
The eco-driven design of Tevere focuses on smooth geometry — no sharp edges, with rounded leg profiles that soften the silhouette.
The tabletop slats are joined to the main beams using vibration welding, with no aluminium reinforcements. Reducing material layers keeps the structure lighter and reinforces the sustainability concept. Lathe-turned legs are seamlessly welded to the upper section, and laser cutting improves overall precision and finish quality.

Atomo dining, bar and coffee tables
- Versions: dining (74 cm), bar (110 cm), coffee (51 cm)
- Materials: aluminium, steel
The Atomo range was designed as a universal table system that can blend into different environments while acting as a visual anchor. A lightweight yet robust aluminium construction uses a cast base with attached legs supporting the tabletop. The connection between the base and tubular elements reflects careful design development and advanced manufacturing.
A wide palette of colours and finishes supports both functionality and comfort — for terraces, indoor seating areas, hotels, or private residences.

Hyppo coffee tables
- Materials: aluminium, HPL laminate
- Colours: ochre, crimson, quartz green, petroleum green
Hyppo explores playful outdoor-ready forms that also work indoors. Inspired by the morphology of a hippo, the collection features large, sculptural aluminium legs paired with a slim, irregular laminate top.
Hyppo tables come in different diameters and heights, making it easy to create combinations for terraces, lounges, or living areas.
Outdoor Sofa

Maximo modular system
- Frame: polypropylene reinforced with fibreglass, with UV additives
Maximo is a modular sofa system with a frame made from regenerated plastic and textiles containing a high share of recycled components. Starting from a single armchair module, the system enables multiple configurations via interchangeable backrests and armrests.
The Maximo collection uses clean horizontal lines to create a sense of length and depth. The structure is solid yet visually lightweight thanks to its modular geometry and rounded details.

Cushions are made from elegant, technically robust fabrics (partially regenerated), with removable washable covers. A coordinated palette and optional decorative cushions add softness and a more personalised look.
Outdoor Parasols

Lido collection
- Sizes: Ø 2.5 m (round), 2 × 2 m (square)
- Frame: aluminium with powder coating (anthracite, white, titanium) — pole and ribs
- Canopy: water-repellent acrylic fabric, 350 g/m²
This Scolaro launch replaces the traditional rope mechanism with an elegant push-up system — the parasol opens with a simple upward push, with no handle or rope required. The result is more intuitive daily operation for terraces.

Lido comes in three frame finishes — Dark, StarWhite, and Titanium — defined by the pole colour. The canopy is typically produced in six standard shades: ecru (natural/ivory), dark grey, white, silver-grey, anthracite, and black. Additional colours are available, and custom prints can be applied to one or multiple sides.
The parasol weighs only 7–8 kg (depending on size). It can be paired with fixed bases (metal or cement composite) or mobile wheeled bases, with a total height of 2.55 m.
