In the heart of Lviv’s Pidzamche district stands the Jam Factory Art Center — a cultural venue born from a long-term revitalization of a historic industrial building. The project was initiated by Austrian philanthropist Harald Binder and brought to life by the architecture studio Balbek Bureau.
The former factory building, once a distillery and later a jam production facility, has been reimagined with respect for its original neo-Gothic façade and modernized interior. The design successfully merges historical authenticity with present-day functionality.
The center features exhibition spaces, a performance stage, lecture rooms, administrative offices, a café, and green terraces. The total renovated area exceeds 3,500 m².
To furnish both indoor and outdoor areas of the Jam Factory Art Center, HoReCa.Furniture supplied solutions that combine aesthetics, comfort, and durability:
- Archer collection bar stools and chairs — crafted from natural beech and oak, these pieces highlight the venue’s atmosphere and add warmth to the bar area.
- Outdoor furniture by S•Cab Design — lightweight, weather-resistant chairs and tables that enhance the terraces and open-air spaces.
Jam Factory Art Center stands as an example of how abandoned industrial sites can be transformed into vibrant cultural destinations. The furniture provided by HoReCa.Furniture blends seamlessly with the architectural concept and plays an essential role in the atmosphere of the space.
